Jason Parra, a sophomore at Long Beach Millikan High, clocked 14:41.8 to prevail in the 3-mile boys varsity Sundown Showdown at the ASICS Temecula Twilight Invitational at Galway Downs in Temecula, Calif. Parra produced the fastest performance of the event, leading seven competitors to sub-15 efforts. Millikan finished sixth overall with 176 points.
