Danielle Hollander, a junior at Beverly Hills High in California, won the 3-mile girls varsity race in 17:39.1 at the ASICS Temecula Twilight Invitational at Galway Downs in Temecula, Calif. Hollander built an 40-second lead midway throught the race and maintained the advantage on the second 1.5-mile loop. Hollander, one of the top Division 4 athletes in the state, produced the third-fastest female performance of the meet from all races combined.
