John Sesteaga, a senior at Glendora High in California, placed second in the 3-mile boys varsity Sundown Showdown race in 14:47.9 at the ASICS Temecula Twilight Invitational at Galway Downs in Temecula, Calif. Sesteaga helped Glendora finish second behind Palomares League rival Ayala by a 115-119 margin. Glendora also edged Vista Murrieta on a sixth-runner tiebreaker for second place after both teams accumulated 119 points.
